The Divine Books of Allah & Angels

Divine Books of Allah

Allah Ta’ala has revealed many books. Some are large (Kitaab) and some are smaller (Saheefa).

The Four Major Divine Books:

  • Taurait (Torah) – Revealed to Hazrat Musa (Moses)
  • Zaboor (Psalms) – Revealed to Hazrat Dawood (David)
  • Injeel (Bible) – Revealed to Hazrat Isa (Jesus)
  • Qur’an – Revealed to Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)

The Qur’an was revealed gradually over 23 years, not all at once.

Faith in the Qur’an

It is necessary to believe in every verse of the Qur’an.
Rejecting even a single verse or claiming it is altered is disbelief.

Who Are Angels?

Angels are a creation of Allah made from light (Noor).

Key Characteristics:

  • They are neither male nor female
  • They do not eat or drink
  • They always follow Allah’s commands

Duties of Angels:

  • Recording good and bad deeds (Kiraman Katibeen)
  • Questioning in the grave (Munkar & Nakeer)
  • Delivering messages and sustenance

Four Major Angels:

  • Hazrat Jibra’eel – Brings revelation
  • Hazrat Israfeel – Will blow the horn on Judgment Day
  • Hazrat Mika’eel – Controls sustenance and rain
  • Hazrat Izra’eel – Takes souls

Denying the existence of angels is disbelief.
